Vintage Indian stone food serving dishes found across India at one time, now wonderfully repurposed as hanging planter stands, using reclaimed iron chains and an S hook. Each is unique and hand carved from a single piece of stone, and whilst notoriously difficult to date, these tended to stop being made around 1920, when ceramics and metal manufacturing took over across India. These hanging planter stands look great in any room in the house! This is an old piece made by hand many years ago, with a beautiful colour and patina which really shows its age and history, and there are some historic repairs and age related marks and wear and tear as you would expect for an item of this age.
