Jardinopia (taken from the combination of French and Greek words to mean literally ‘visual garden’) was founded in 2018, when Tony and Andrea decided to do something entirely different with their time. Utilising their business experience developed over twenty-five years within large corporates, they set about creating a multi-brand home and garden gift-oriented company that offered innovative new designs for practical and utilitarian products – affording something different for people that enjoyed a similar lifestyle and ethos, or that were perhaps looking for an unusual and competitively priced gift.

They were determined to differentiate the business by designing and manufacturing all of their own products in an ethical and sustainable way from the outset – and not buy ‘off the shelf’ wherever possible.

Another reason for establishing Jardinopia was to create a vehicle through which they could actively support worthy causes close to their hearts. They therefore donate a portion of their profits to causes that are important to them. They aim to continue to diversify the areas they support as the business and product ranges grow.

To commence their journey, Jardinopia developed and custom-designed a range of plant pot feet
under the company brand ‘Potty Feet’, which bagged the Best New Product Award at Spring Fair
2018. Sister brand Cane Companions (also award-winning) was launched in 2019 and Pot Buddies,
Feeder Friends and Daisy n Jack followed in 2020, at the same time as their first licence-based
product ranges. Eco Pots and Diffuser Décor followed in 2021. Today, Jardinopia also cooperate with
their partners Laura Ashley, Disney, Beatrix Potter (Penguin Books), Iona Buchanan and Emma
Lawrence to produce amazing garden products for both adults and children.

Jardinopia now sell their products to both trade and direct consumers in over 50 countries. They also
develop ‘white label’ garden product ranges for many of the UK’s largest retailers. In 2023 they
opened their first bricks and mortar shop, based in the beautiful town of Ledbury in Herefordshire,
introduced the first of their ‘vintage’ ranges to the market and launched Jardinopia India based in
Jodhpur Rajasthan. They continuously develop differentiated products across a wide range of home
and garden categories, and try to source responsibly, package sustainably, and design in a way that
best protects the environment.
