Vintage painted Indian teak wood lounge, kitchen or bathroom wall rack made from reclaimed timbers rescued from crumbling havellis in Gujarat State. Racks like this were found in every home in India at one time. It comes with sturdy iron rear wall mounts making it quick and easy to hang anywhere. They come in a huge array of colours, sizes and styles reflecting the many cultures that influenced the land over centuries, and have influenced our latest design here which we present in 3 colours. Whilst a newer piece, it is made from old wood, cut by hand many years ago, with a beautiful colour and patina which really shows its age and history, and there are some historic repairs and age related marks and wear and tear as you would expect for wood of this age.
