Vintage painted Indian teak wood hall or bathroom mirror and small integral storage cupboard, made from reclaimed timbers rescued from crumbling havellis in Gujarat State. Mirrors like this were found in every home in India at one time. They come in a huge array of colours, sizes and styles reflecting the many cultures that influenced the land over centuries, and have influenced our ltest design here. Whilst a newer piece, it is made from old wood, cut by hand many years ago, with a beautiful colour and patina which really shows its age and history, and there are some historic repairs and age related marks and wear and tear as you would expect for wood of this age.
