Vintage Indian large childrens rocking elephant toy (approx 1.5 feet long) hand carved in teak wood, with lots of remnants of original paint. Dating from c1950, and in fine original condition and a really lovely patina. Found with a very similar elephant, which whilst not a matching pair, are very similar and suggest they were made for siblings at the same time. Makes for a unique and fun decorative piece for any room in the house. As with all pieces of this age, there are some historic repairs and age related marks and wear and tear as you would expect.
