Description
Our large Jharoka Bari Window Mirrors are made from repurposed and salvaged old teak Indian window frames (called Jharoka Bari. They are hand carved and with strong traces of the original paint (a lovely grey patination in this case) which gives them so much character. The reclaimed teak windows come from old buildings that are too dilapidated to repair, in Rajasthan, Gujarat State and Northern India and through repurposing, are saved for future generations! They are all nineteenth century original teak windows. Each mirror comes with hanging hooks on the rear, sometimes with some minor restoration required to ensure they reach you in original but fully functional solid condition. The mirrors look kreat in any room in the home, and can also be used outside in the simmer on patio walls and terraces. As an old piece and there are some historic repairs and age related marks and wear and tear as you would expect. Please be sure to check all photos as these form part of the description.
