A fine reclaimed Indian teak wood and iron planter. The front part is made from reclaimed nineteenth century iron window grills, and the teak frame is made from an early balcony, reclaimed from the first floor of an old haveli. These small balconies were once common in 19th century Indian provincial towns and cities. The planters come with a fitted (but removable) iron insert so that you can plant straight into it if you wish. These make for fantastic robust planters and can be used safely outdoors or indoors. As with all reclaimed items, the planters come with the odd blemish that you would expect of a product of this age. Dimensions: Length 64 x Width 46 x Height 72cm
