This fantastically versatile glass fronted cupboard made from solid teak wood dates from the 1920’s-30’s and hails from Gujarat. It has three solid internal shelves and two glass fronted doors, each with three large panes. It has a wonderful old light grey patina painted finish. They are called Kaanch Almirahs, and were used originally in the drawing rooms of wealthier houses to display items of value. Today these cupboards are repurposed as additional freestanding kitchen or utility room storage cupboards in the UK, as well as display units for your collections. They can be used in any room throughout the house. All come in great original condition, with fine old paint and iron fittings, and as an old piece, there are some historic age related marks and wear and tear as you would expect. Please be sure to check all photos as these form part of the description.
