Antique Indian teak wood table top showcase cabinet from the late 19th century (well over 120 years old). With 5 sides of glass to allow maximum light in, these showcases were originally used to display scientific equipment or taxidermy. Now often repurposed as mini indoor greenhouses or bathroom cabinets – as well as being used for their original purpose as display cabinets. It is in beautiful original condition, ready to grace any room in the house. Made in Rajasthan during the last quarter of the 19th century, it is a good sized utility piece that can be usefully placed anywhere. This is also a unique one of piece which was made by hand many years ago and has a lovely patina which really shows its age and history.
