Antique Indian Teak Wood Pinjara Cupboard

This fantastically versatile Pinjara cupboard made from solid teak wood dates from the 1920’s and hails from Rajasthan. It has a fine old green painted patina and one internal shelf. Today these cupboards are repurposed as additional freestanding kitchen or utility room storage cupboards in the UK, as well as bedroom storage, and are ideal for the guest or children’s bedroom. They can be used in any room throughout the house. All come in great original condition, with fine old paint and iron fittings, and as an old piece, there are some historic age related marks and wear and tear as you would expect.
