Antique Indian Teak Wood Chapel Bench

Fine and well proportioned antique Indian teak wood bench. Probably from Goa or a similar provincial Southern Indian town, this very solid and comfortable bench has a wonderful natural patina that has built up over the 100+ years it has been in use. This example, dating from c1910-20 may have come from a church, given the 3 sets of legs. As with all antiques of approximately a hundred plus years old, there are signs of minor wear and tear as seen in the picture – but the overall condition is excellent. This lovely bench would look great outside on a patio or decking, or in a hallway, and will be fine outside all year around as its teak hardwood. Dimensions: Length 206 x Width 54 x Height 103cm
