Antique Indian Teak Wood 1 Drawer Writing Desk Or Side Table

A fine antique Indian teak wood writing desk dating from the late 19th century/early 1900’s. In great original condition, with a sturdy and deep drawer and fine original patination that has built up over a century or more. These desks would have been found in the offices, studies and administrative offices of imperial India in every town at one point. Today they are much sought after for studies and as side tables in lounges or kitchens because of their size and sturdiness, as well as for their original colour.
